Fire-stop belts inside cable trays and ducts are designed to divide them into compartments in order to prevent the spread of cable fire along the entire length of the cable route.

Fire-stop belts are designed for use in trays and in reinforced concrete ducts.

Fire-stop belts must provide localization of ignition and separation into fire zones along the cable route in cable metal trays of closed cover type with dimensions (HxB) up to 1000x600 mm, solid-bottom (flat type) with dimensions (HxB) up to 100x600 mm, where H – height, B – breadth, as well as non-passable reinforced concrete ducts of series 3.006.1-2.87, or similar, of various cross-sectional shapes.

Fire-stop belts must provide fire resistance under the influence of "standard fire" according to ISO 834-75 (GOST 53310-2009), not less than 0.75 hours (IET45).
